Capt Mokjadi Jane Satekge was born on 16 September 1961. She joined the South African Police Service on 15 January 1990 where she was employed as an administrator at SAPS Sebokeng. Following that, she was transferred to SAPS Vereeniging in 1992, to SAPS Orange Farm in 1995 and SAPS Vanderbijlpark in 2001. On 23 March 2006, Capt Satekge was transferred to Sedibeng K9 Unit, through a promotional post with the rank of captain and working as the Head of Support HRM, which post she held until her retirement at the end of September 2021.
